Hi Jeff:
i saw your comment “NYT charges 4 weeks at a time, so you can pay less than $16 for the first four weeks, collect your miles, then cancel! ” here http://www.frugaltravelguy.com/2012/04/a-big-week-coming-for-travel-hackers.html. So how long is your subscription to have miles posted? Does it have to be a monthly subscription or biweekly?
Thanks!
I received my miles within two weeks of subscribing–pretty fast for the AA shopping portal! The New York Times charges in 4 week increments, so you essentially have to sign up for a month-long subscription.
Thanks for your reply. Did you cancel your subscription after the first 4 weeks?
I cancelled at about the 3-week mark of the first 4-week charge. I got the paper through the end of the fourth week, but then nothing after that.
